A Night with Takis Fyssas

elt.events is delighted to be bringing one of finest players ever to wear the famous maroon jersey, Takis Fyssas back to Edinburgh!  The man himself will be live on stage at the iconic Central Hall, Tollcross on Saturday 26 November in association with our event sponsors OwlTek. 

We understand that the cost of living makes everything more difficult and we are delighted to have the support of OwlTek and their CEO Gavin Dack, who has allowed us to offer free standard entry, as well as (we hope) affordable price points for our meet and greet and Super Fan tickets. We are massively appreciative of Gavin and OwlTek's support and we hope the fans can enjoy meeting a real club legend!

Ranked by Hearts' fans as one of Tynecastle's greatest imports, Takis arrived at Tynecastle as a European champion, having played in every game of Greece’s extraordinary Euro 2004 win against host nation Portugal. The Euro final was played at the Estadio da Luz, home of Takis’ then club side, Benfica, where he also won the Portuguese league and cup.

George Burley and Vladimir Romanov signed Fyssas in 2005/06, in a memorable transfer window that also saw Rudi Skacel and Edgaras Jankauskas move to Gorgie. At the end of that legendary season for Hearts, he lifted the Scottish Cup and clinched a Champions League qualification spot.

Takis Fyssas will be forever remembered by Jambos for being a ‘Rolls Royce’ of a football player and for his ecstatic celebrations when he helped the club secure a Champions' League place at Tynecastle. He was also adored by teammates for his fun personality and respected for his professionalism. He is now Technical Director for the Greek national football team.

We are delighted he has found the time to return to Scotland to meet his fans at A Night with Takis Fyssas!

Standard: entry to A Night with Takis Fyssas and access to our pay bar.

Meet & Greet: early entry to meet and have your photo taken with Takis in our VIP room.

Super Fan:  welcome drink on arrival at our VIP room, meet-and-greet, printed and signed photograph and a specially-commissioned maroon & white Number 3 shirt personalised to you by Takis on the night.

• Event open to under 18s if accompanied by an adult.
• All seating is unreserved, however, meet & greet and Super Fan ticket holders have priority seating closest to the stage.
• All event photographs will be posted on the elt.events' website within 48 hours of the event; images can be downloaded directly in full resolution.
• Tickets are non-refundable.
