We are delighted to announce that we are brining the legend Russell Latapy back to Edinburgh in June to meet the Hibernian fans!
In association with Hibernian FC and Easter Road Events, we are pleased to confirm that the Little Magician will be live on stage at a special fans' event at the tremendous Central Hall in Edinburgh on Friday 23rd June, and then on Saturday 24th June he will be the guest of honour at a celebratory dinner within the stunning Edinburgh Club at Easter Road Stadium.
Russell is an absolute Club legend, having been brought to the Club by Alex McLeish in the summer of 1998. His immediate impact was clear and Russell ended up playing a massive part in the Club’s return to the Premier Division, culminating in him claiming for the divisional and Club player of the year awards in his debut season. He followed up the successful promotion campaign by helping to cement the Club’s place back in the top-flight, picking up his second Club player of the year award at the end of the 1999-2000 season, one particular highlight being a certain 6-2 demolition of Edinburgh’s other team…
